About me

I have been an international dance artist for fifteen years .
Originally from France I now live in Stoke-on-Trent. I began to work as a professional dancer in the
Junior Ballet d Aquitaine ( a contemporary dance company ) in Bordeaux from the age of 19 . I performed for this company for over 8 years touring nationally all over France  and internationally in China and Mongolia.
After moving to Stoke-on-Trent, I began to work as a freelance dance artist, combining my love of performing, teaching and producing. Previous work in Stoke as a dancer includes Restoke’s You Are
Here and Mother. I have been a member of Desi Nach for over 5 years , a  professional Bollywood Performance Company and have toured the country with this company . I set up Oulala Cabaret in 2016 and have produced a series of successful sold out shows across the region in different venues. One of them
have been commissioned by Appetite in Stoke on Trent . The Oulala Cabaret
have also performed in festivals around the UK including JUST SO FESTIVAL
and FESTIVAL N6 in Wales. Oulala Cabaret is a professional  performance company
producing shows mixing different art forms : drama ,contemporary dance, singing and visual
art. The theme of the show are always about women, feminism and
celebrating womanhood . The performances always use the quirky cabaret atmosphere , the proximity of audience and the intensity of contemporary live performance. I also work as a contemporary dance lecturer in Stoke on Trent college. For the last two years I became passionate by menstrual cycle awareness and facsinated by how it empowered women.
In 2021 I have been awarded by a grant from the Art Council England to create Let it Bleed a dance solo about authentic womanity and menstrual cycle.

I am currently working on Let it Bleed for Girls  a project funded by the Art Council England. LIBFG is a series of informative and creative workshop about menstrual cycle delivered in schools .
